Bad Liar x Siq Shit
…what better way to start the weekend off than some good, new music. BAD LIAR are a somewhat new-ish band from Oakland, California. the band originally consisted of my homie Jack doing everything solo, but now it’s a full band; and with a new EP about to come out and stoked many people out. this song is properly titled “Youthanized” and the EP it is on (that should be out in the next few weeks on Conditions Records) is called “Yours Truly”.
Jack took the “Youthanized” name from thee’ol DA book-of-slang, and i’m stoked for it. someone recently asked me if it was ok if they got the word “Youthanized” tattooed on them; of course it is! use that shit. live that shit.
but anyways, among the new EP that BAD LIAR has coming out, they also have a show in SF this coming Sunday, at the SubMission Art Space. more info on that can be found over at their Facebook and of course their blog (which you should follow, duh).
thanks again to Jack and the whole BL crew. and i’ll post up more info when the record comes out and where you can go and cop it. also, if you didn’t notice yet, the album artwork is being done by DA lifer John McCarthy. killin it.
