Honolulu Vacation - Part 2
Day 2 started off with some breakfast on the beach. After that, we rented some snorkeling gear and a bodyboard. I didn’t realize how many fish are just hanging out right there, right in front of you. I swam a few yards out with the mask and snorkel and you could see some of the coolest shit right there in the rocks/reef. A bunch of rad-looking tropical fish hanging out, doing their normal everyday thing; and it was awesome to be so close to it all (we bought a few underwater-disposable cameras…i’ll scan and post those at some point). So anyways, after that, we decided to head back to our hotel to catch the sunset from our balcony. We were 20 floors up, so it definitely made for a pretty rad scene. After some drinks in the room, we headed out on a mission to find the Hokulani Back Shop, which unbeknown to me, was a cupcake shop that previously won Cupcake Wars (so needless to say, Rachel had to go there a try a few). After that, we took a cab to the Ala Moana Center, hung out there for a minute, and then took the Pink Line trolley back to Waikiki. And then it was back to our hotel, to hang out on our balcony and enjoy the 70-degree weather in the middle of the night and into the morning.
