Honolulu Vacation - Part 3

Day 3 was the one we were both really looking forward to; mainly because we made reservations to go on a snorkeling tour in an area named “Turtle Canyon”. So that morning, we woke up early, grabbed some breakfast, and took a cab over to the Honolulu harbor. We then hooked up with Island Magic Catamaran and set off to go see some mother fuckin sea turtles…and goddamn, did we see some mother fuckin sea turtles. It was one of the coolest things ever; they took us out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean to a protected feeding area, gave us some snorkeling gear, and let us look at this ridiculously awesome creature (again, gotta make a note to scan those underwater-disposable camera photos). And after a couple of hours on this boat, we headed back towards dry land. Once there, Rachel and i went over to a few other shops we wanted to visit. And from there, we headed back to Waikiki and caught another epic sunset. We then chilled on our balcony to watch the fireworks show that apparently happen every Friday night in Waikiki. After that, it was recommended to us that we go eat malasadas at Leonard’s Bakery (which was the best recommendation ever). And after that, we took a cab over to downtown and grabbed drinks at The Manifest and had an epic late-dinner at The Downbeat Diner (if you are a vegetarian/vegan, go here, all the time). And then at some point we ended up back at our hotel and in bed. Great day.
